Eligibility and Admission Process (Officials of CGPDTM)
- The eligibility criteria as well as the admission process for candidates applying under this category shall be the same as that of the Indian Nationals. For more information, kindly refer to: IP - Joint Masters/LL.M. Eligibility
- The admission of candidates under this category shall be made based on satisfying the prescribed criteria mentioned below:
Masters of Arts (M.A.) in Intellectual Property Law and Management Master of Law (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law and Management - Candidates must have completed two bachelor's degrees in succession, including one in the relevant discipline; or
- An integrated degree programme of five years in the relevant discipline after completing plus two; or
- An equivalent post-graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university; or
- Candidates completing a four-year Bachelor’s programme with Honours/Research, from a recognized university
Candidate should have completed LL.B. or an equivalent degree from a recognized University. In all the above mentioned cases, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (50% for reserved categories such as SC/ST/Persons with Disability). The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved categories such as SC/ST/Persons with Disability). - The seats under this category are supernumerary and hence the seat reservation policy as prescribed by the Government of India shall not be applicable.
