    The All India Entrance Test (AIET–PGIP) for admission to the PGIP–MA/LLM Degree in Insolvency at National Law University Delhi shall be conducted as per the details below:

    The AIET Entrance Test is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2026 (2:00 pm to 4:00 pm).

    Syllabus for PGIP Entrance Examination

    The AIET–PGIP is intended to assess candidates’ general aptitude, analytical ability, and readiness for postgraduate study in insolvency and related areas. The entrance examination will broadly assess candidates on the following areas: Professional Ethics, Legal Aptitude, Financial Aptitude, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Mathematics and Basic Statistics, Logical Reasoning, English Comprehension & Communication Skills.     Negative marking shall apply to the Objective Test (MCQs). For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks shall be deducted. Four incorrect answers shall result in a deduction of one (1) mark.

    Tie-Breaking Criteria

    In case two or more candidates secure the same total marks, inter se merit shall be determined as follows:

    1. Higher marks in the Descriptive Test
    2. Senior in age
    3. Computerised draw of lots

    Selection Process and Weightage

    Admission to the programme shall be through a two-stage selection process comprising:

    1. Written Entrance Test
    2. Group Discussion and Personal Interview
    In the final merit list 85% weightage would be given to the Written Entrance Test (AIET) and 15% weightage to the Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
    Based on AIET–PGIP merit, candidates up to two times the number of available seats in each category shall be shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview stage.
