Conduct of All India Entrance Test - 2025

All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for admission to the UG/PG and Ph.D. Programmes at the National Law University, Delhi shall be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 2.00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Entrance Test (AILET) Scheme:

    The syllabus of AILET 2025 for LL.M. Programme is as follows:
  • The entrance tests for LL.M. Programme will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based only.
  • The test paper will consist of 100 MCQs with each question carrying 1 mark.
  • All the 100 MCQs will be from the different branches of Law.
  • The duration of the examination will be 120 minutes.
  • Negative marking: There will be Negative Marking in AILET 2025. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 that means per wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of one (1) mark.
  • If two or more candidates get the same marks at the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) their merit will be decided as follows:
    a) Senior Age;
    b) Computerized draw of lots
