Conduct of All India Entrance Test - 2026
All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for admission to the UG and PG Programmes at the National Law University, Delhi shall be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 2.00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Entrance Test (AILET) Scheme:
The syllabus of AILET 2026 for LL.M. Programme is as follows:
- The entrance tests for LL.M. Programme will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based only.
- The test paper will consist of 100 MCQs with each question carrying 1 mark.
- All the 100 MCQs will be from the different branches of Law.
- The duration of the examination will be 120 minutes.
- Negative marking: There will be Negative Marking in AILET 2026. The criteria for negative marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 that means per wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of one (1) mark.
- If two or more candidates get the same marks at the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) their merit will be decided as follows:
a) Senior Age;
b) Computerized draw of lots
