General Information

• The Joint Masters/ LL.M. in Intellectual Property (IP) Law and Management has been launched in pursuance of the tripartite Letter of Intent signed between the National Law University Delhi (NLUD) with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and the Office of Controller General of Patents Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM - Indian IP Office), Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India under the aegis of WIPO India Action Plan, 2023.
• Admission of Indian Nationals shall be based on the merit achieved in the dedicated All India Entrance Test (AIET).
• Foreign National & CGPDTM category candidates are exempted from the entrance test. Their admission shall be based on: (i) Preliminary Screening, (ii) Essay Submission and (iii) Interview (Weightage of components is attributed as: 30:40:30).
• The Foreign National and OCI/PIO Candidates are also required to apply online on the same portal.
• The degree granting authority for this programme is National Law University Delhi. However, the transcript / degree certificate shall bear the logos of all the partnering institutions.
